IAGI Certification
The International Association of Geosynthetic Installers (IAGI) is a professional organization founded in 1995 to represent installation contractors in the geosynthetic industry. The intent of the organization is to provide a forum where construction techniques and technologies can be discussed with the intended goal of raising the quality and integrity of our industry. With this in mind, IAGI has developed an Approved Installation Contractor (AIC) program. To be certified in this program, contractors must submit extensive documentation to an independent auditor for review. Some of the areas addressed in the program are: corporate history and business practices, insurance/bonding verification, safety training, professional competence and experience. CAAWS is proud of the fact that we were the first installation contractor to receive this certification.
